As a reputable Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central partner, PYA software developers, systems integrators, and management consultants work with clients across North America to implement, optimize, and support the software. One of those software experts is Richard Parkinson, an independent consultant who manages most of the firm’s Business Central implementations in the US.

 

One of PYA’s clients is a large government contractor with over 100 Business Central users. During their Business Central cloud implementation, the company needed a third-party reporting tool to meet their complex reporting requirements. With over 25 years’ experience working with Dynamics NAV and Business Central, Richard has an extensive background working with a third-party reporting solution for Microsoft Dynamics called Jet Reports. Unfortunately, it didn’t fit the client’s reporting specifications or performance needs, so he had to look somewhere else.

 

After researching specific Business Central forums and LinkedIn groups, Richard discovered Cosmos cloud reporting for Business Central. He read online reviews and product testimonials and shortly after, reached out to Anthony from Cosmos. How Cosmos High Performance Delivers High Value to the Customer

Since starting their Cosmos journey, PYA’s newest Business Central customer is primed to hit the ground running. With a gallery of pre-defined reports and short learning curve, Cosmos has been easy to learn and has already saved them significant time and costs in the creation of complex reports.

 

For example, one of the company’s trouble areas was vendor rebates. They require the creation of upwards of 15 vendor rebate reports every month – an act that took almost 2 weeks of a person’s time. Now that the reports have been created and are automatically generated in Cosmos, they’ve reduced the report creation time from 14 days to a few hours.
