We are so excited to announce that we will be sponsoring Directions North America for yet another year… This time as a first-time sponsor on behalf of Cosmos!

We have two exciting sessions to share with you, the details of which can be found below:

ISV Session: ISV706

Tuesday, April 5, 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM, Regency 1-3

The Future of Cloud Reporting, Analytics, and Data Management for BC

Does it get any more exciting than a product reveal at Directions? We certainly don’t think so. Welcome to the future of reporting, analytics, and data management for Business Central. Welcome to Cosmos!

In this session we will demonstrate the functionality of Cosmos from reporting and analytics to data management and accessibility. We will look at what’s in the product currently and will also explore the roadmap moving forward. As an added bonus, we’ve outlined some features that we feel should be in the product as soon as possible, however, we want our partners to vote and decide what comes next. Be sure to attend this session if you’re interested in becoming a Cosmos partner because your feedback will quite literally shape the direction of our product moving forward.

Finally, we will spend a few minutes talking about what you can expect when you become a partner and what benefits you’ll receive for doing so.

This is one session you won’t want to miss so be sure to add it to your conference schedule. We are so excited to be back working with our valued partners again and appreciate your support in this exciting new venture.

Bring Your Data to Life with Power BI

In this session we will start by connecting a new Power BI report to an instance of Business Central and will conclude by publishing a finished report to the Power BI service. As a BONUS, we will also show how to add Power BI reports into Microsoft Teams so that individuals can collaborate around one version of their businesses data. This is a great session for those who are newer to Power BI as well as those who may have experience with Power BI but haven’t seen some of the ‘latest and greatest’ features such as Teams integration and newly released visualization capabilities. Learn how to:

  • Create a new Power BI report
  • Connect the report directly to Business Central
  • Leverage the out-of-the-box Business Central queries available for Power BI
  • Address basic data cleansing
  • Consolidate data from multiple tables
  • Bring your data to life with newly released visualizations
  • Publish your finished report to the Power BI service
  • BONUS: Add Power BI reports into Microsoft Teams!

Be sure to mark these sessions down on your Directions agenda as these will be ones you won’t want to miss. See you there!
